The average 15-year fixed-rate mortgage in the United States, published weekly by Freddie Mac. Typically 0.5-1.0 percentage points lower than 30-year rates with substantially higher monthly payments but much less lifetime interest.
Weekly — we refresh daily; upstream source publishes once per week (check Next Update below).
We gate dateModified updates to actual value changes (threshold: 0.01% absolute or 0.5% relative) to prevent freshness spoofing. If the upstream value hasn't moved, we don't claim we updated the page.
