CalcFi Maps License

All CalcFi-compiled maps data is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) license. You are free to reuse, adapt, and redistribute the data commercially or non-commercially, subject to attribution.

Attribution requirement

Every public use must include a visible, crawlable link to the source page on calcfi.app. No nofollow, no iframe-only placement, no image-only credit.

For embedded widgets, the JS snippet injects compliant attribution automatically. Do not strip or hide the anchor — that is a license violation.

Upstream government sources (BLS OEWS, BEA RPP, Freddie Mac PMMS, Census ACS, HUD FMR) remain in the US public domain. The CalcFi license applies to our compilation, normalization, RPP joins, percentile distributions, and cost-adjusted derivatives.

No warranty

Data is provided as-is. Figures are sourced from federal statistical programs and updated on their release cadences. CalcFi does not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose. For financial, legal, or tax decisions, consult a qualified professional.

Takedown / stripped attribution

If you find a site reusing CalcFi maps data without compliant attribution, email support@calcfi.app with the URL. We will contact the operator before any DMCA escalation.
